The Breakers Review Reply

Hi, all!  FFn is being difficult and not allowing review replies to be sent.  I am posting it here instead!!

Hi again!

 

I hope all who celebrate Thanksgiving had a wonderful holiday, and for those of you that don't, I hope you've had a wonderful week so far!

 

Thanks so much for reading and for taking the time to let me know what you thought of the last chapter!

 

Lots happening in this last chapter, I hope you enjoyed all the family time. Edward is still learning his way, but I think he's got a pretty good handle on it all, don't you? And how about our Bella letting her claws come out when her Edward is being threatened? There were a few comments made about how Trisha knew of Edward's past …  Corea is a small town, tiny in fact, and while their immediate circle was told firsthand about what happened to Edward in Boston, it's not too much of a stretch to imagine someone overhearing something and then repeating that to someone else and so on and so on. There was no big announcement or anything like that, just word of mouth that spread from one person to another.

 

We are moving ahead next chapter. Do you have your big girl panties ready because you're going to need them! You knew it was coming, so hang on tight. It's going to get bumpy. Keep the faith though and trust me, okay?

 

Because you were so great to leave me a review, here's a little tease to get you through until Sunday:

 

“Bella?” Mom asks as she settles into the opposite corner of the loveseat.

 

I shrug my shoulders, figuring she doesn't really need an answer, but I give her one anyway. “I couldn't sleep. Plus, I want to be close to the scanner … just in case.”

 

She sighs and then scoots over to throw an arm over my shoulder. “You are going to give yourself an ulcer if you keep this up, Bella.” She kisses the side of my head and I know there is more she wants to say, but thankfully she doesn't say anything else.

 

“I can't help it, Mom. I know, I know,” I hold my hand up and stop the next words out of her mouth, “I know this is his job and I know it's something I have to learn to live with. This just feels different is all, and I don't know why. Even before they left on Monday, I had a bad feeling about this trip and now with the forecast and the storm heading this way, I just can't shake the feeling something terrible is going to happen.”
